The FIA, FOM, and the local organization have just announced that the start of the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday will be moved forward by three hours. The new start time is 1:00 PM local time, which corresponds to 7:00 PM Dutch time. The reason for the change is that severe weather with thunderstorms is expected later in the day.

The decision, which had been anticipated for some time, was made to minimize the chance of disruptions to the Formula 1 race. Mercedes driver and World Championship leader Kimi Antonelli will start the Miami GP from pole position, with Max Verstappen alongside him in P2.
