Lewis Hamilton responded with his statement to a report from the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera. The Italian media suggested that the Brit had approached team principal Frédéric Vasseur to implement thorough changes within Ferrari. Especially for the key positions within the organization, Hamilton is said to have advocated for new names.
‘Never asked for anyone to be replaced’
The seven-time world champion shared a reaction via his own Instagram channel. “I have seen some stories that have come out and would like to clarify,” writes the Ferrari driver. “I have never asked for anyone to be replaced in my team. Everyone I work with puts in a lot of hard work every day, and it is their dedication that drives us forward.”

According to Hamilton, the rumors also go against his own principles. “I always try to encourage people and help them become the best version of themselves, or at least see the best in themselves,” he continues. “I don’t always succeed, but that is my intention and the reason why I am here. We all work together and that will continue to be the case.”
