Max Verstappen will participate for the first time in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in May. The Dutchman will race in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 during his first endurance race. Max Verstappen travels to the Nordschleife again between the Grands Prix of Miami and Canada. The 24 Hours of Nürburgring is scheduled for the weekend of May 16. “If I were Red Bull and Ford, I would put pressure on Max not to drive a Mercedes, but a Ford GT3 or something similar,” the former F1 driver continued. “I don’t think the big boss at Ford would like it if he raced with Mercedes in the GT classes and thus advertised the Silver Arrows.”
