Lando Norris has founded his own racing team. Together with investors, the British world champion is setting up LN4 Fusion, a racing team that will be active from next season in several European feeder series. Norris’s new team will participate in the Italian Formula 4, the FIA Formula Regional European Championship, and Formula 3.

The new racing team of Lando Norris is also expected to appear in Formula 2 eventually. For the Formula 3 project, the newly established team took over parts of AIX Racing, which holds a license for the feeder series until 2027. René Rosin – who previously held the reins at Prema – will take daily leadership of the team as team principal. The home base of LN4 Fusion will be in Veneto, Italy, but it will also have a British branch in Cambridgeshire.
‘Creating opportunities for the next generation’
Besides the team, Norris has also established a training program: LN4 Legacy. Former Alpine executive Julian Rouse will lead this. For the McLaren driver himself, the new team and training program are ways to pass the baton to the next generation of racing talents.

“I have been lucky to be surrounded by great people throughout my career, and I know it takes much more than just talent to make it to Formula 1,” the reigning world champion said in the press release. “You need the right people around you, the right support, and the right opportunities at the right time. That’s what these two projects are about.”
“LN4 Fusion is about setting up a racing team that can compete with the best in junior motorsport, with great people and a fantastic environment where drivers can develop,” Norris continues. “The LN4 Legacy program is designed to offer talented young drivers opportunities they might not otherwise get. For me, these two things naturally complement each other. I want to help create opportunities for the next generation, both on and off the track, and hopefully really make a difference for young drivers still finding their way in the sport.”
