George Russell may still face a penalty after his retirement in Canada. The frustrated Mercedes driver threw both his gloves and the headrest onto the track after his car stalled. Especially the latter could cost him dearly; according to FIA regulations, it is forbidden to leave the headrest on the circuit. The race management has announced that it will investigate the incident after the race. A penalty is possible.
