It is the end of the Dutch Grand Prix for home hero Max Verstappen! In the first lap, it already went wrong for the Red Bull driver who crashed into the barriers coming out of the last corner. Verstappen was fortunately unharmed, but cannot finish his last home race.

Max Verstappen lost control of his RB22 when he drove over the white line. It had rained just before the start of the race. Coming out of the last corner, he crashed into the barriers, causing significant damage to his car. A big disappointment also for the many fans present who saw their home hero in action for no longer than one lap. The red flag was then waved and the race was stopped.
