Isack Hadjar is off from Formula 1 this weekend, but still gets behind the wheel of a race car. The Frenchman has traveled to his home circuit Paul Ricard to treat fans to some racing action in the Red Bull RB7. Sebastian Vettel won the world championship in this car in 2011. Hadjar was already looking forward to the moment before his demonstration: ‘It’s such an iconic car’.

Although the French Grand Prix has not been on the Formula 1 calendar for a while, French fans of the premier class still get the chance to see some live racing action this weekend. Home hero Isack Hadjar has traveled to Circuit Paul Ricard to participate in the Historic French Grand Prix. There he gets behind the wheel of the Red Bull RB7. Sebastian Vettel won the world championship in this car in 2011.
‘Special moment’
“I always look forward to racing for my home crowd, and doing that as a Red Bull driver makes it even more special,” Hadjar said ahead of his demonstration in the RB7. “Sharing the circuit with some of the greatest French F1 drivers of all time will be a very special moment for me. The RB7 is such an iconic car, and driving it alongside the legends of our sport whom I admired as a child is truly amazing. I can’t wait to put on a great show for the fans.” In addition to Hadjar, Alain Prost, René Arnoux, and Jean Alesi are also present at the French circuit.
