Top skaters Joy Beune and Jenning de Boo will trade their skates for race cars in August! During The Racing Day at the TT Circuit Assen, the two Dutch top athletes will compete against each other in a Mazda MX-5 Cup Challenge. The stunt is one of the highlights of the event, where Beune and De Boo will perform in a completely different discipline for tens of thousands of supporters.

The Racing Day is traditionally held at the TT Circuit Assen and is considered the largest combined car, motorcycle, and kart event in the Netherlands. Visitors can not only enjoy the battle between Beune and De Boo but also a comprehensive program full of races and demonstrations on two and four wheels. On Friday, July 31, training and qualifying sessions are scheduled, followed by races on Saturday, August 1, and Sunday, August 2.

The event offers a wide range of racing classes, from historic Formula 1 cars in the Interserie and the latest Porsches to superkarts and supercars. In addition, various demonstrations are scheduled throughout the weekend. Admission to The Racing Day is also free, allowing visitors to follow the action from the iconic stands of the TT Circuit Assen without an entrance ticket.
