Clark currently stands alone at the top with four wins at Zandvoort. The two-time world champion dominated the Dutch Grand Prix in the sixties and achieved three consecutive victories in 1963, 1964, and 1965. In 1967, he added his fourth and final win, making him the most successful F1 driver in the history of Zandvoort ever since.
Honour roll at Zandvoort
Verstappen made a strong impression immediately after the return of the Dutch Grand Prix in 2021. In front of his home crowd, the Red Bull driver won the race that year, followed by first-place finishes in 2022 and 2023. He currently stands at three wins and only needs a fourth victory to match Clark. The last two editions were won consecutively by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. Verstappen finished second both times, thus standing on the podium in every edition of the Dutch GP.

The last Dutch Grand Prix therefore offers Verstappen his very last chance to add a fourth home victory to his honour roll. A win would not only put him alongside Clark but also provide a fitting conclusion to the F1 era of the Dutch Grand Prix.
