“It’s strange that people call it a break,” Hamilton told the press in Miami this week. “I spent a lot of time in the factory and also trained a lot. Meanwhile, Hamilton remains focused on the rest of the F1 season and his second year at Ferrari. “The team has had time to work on the car,” he continued optimistically. “I am ready for this new phase of the season.” The 41-year-old Brit made a strong impression in the opening races, especially compared to 2025. In his debut season for the Scuderia, Hamilton had a difficult year; he often got stuck in Q1 towards the end of the season and finished outside the top positions. During the sprint qualifying in Miami, he secured seventh place on the grid.
