After a boring first part of the race for him, Norris only really got going halfway through. “I was mainly driving behind Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli and then the pace naturally increased. The slipstream helped me a lot as well,” he said.
“It also brought me back into the fight with Lewis Hamilton and eventually also with Oscar Piastri in the last lap. They were good battles. Sometimes it was difficult, because if you press the boost button or overtake, you mess it up somewhere else later.”
