The weekend consists of two four-hour races, each with its own qualifying. These races are basically considered NLS4 and NLS5: the final preparation moments towards the 24 Hours of Nürburgring in May. On Sunday, the top qualifying also takes place, an extra session where the fastest teams can be rewarded with a spot in the decisive qualifying in May. You can read exactly how that works here!

During NLS2, in which Verstappen Racing participated in March, the Dutch F1 driver was supported by Daniel Juncadella and Jules Gounon, both GT3 veterans. This coming weekend, Verstappen shares the car with Lucas Auer, his third teammate during the 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The duo will again compete in the Mercedes-AMG GT3. During NLS2, Verstappen was already dominant in the German car, if it were not that his victory was declared invalid afterwards: the team had used too many sets of tires.
