Next weekend the last Dutch GP at Zandvoort will be held. Since the return of Formula 1 to the Netherlands in 2021, the Grand Prix has set the standard in many ways for organizing an F1 weekend, with spectacle on and especially off the track. In that respect, the Dutch GP serves as an example for current and future host countries. Reportedly, during the last edition, delegates from eighteen countries will come to Zandvoort to gain inspiration.
Already after the first modern edition of the Dutch GP, the organization received international praise for the amount of spectacle during the race weekend. “What the Netherlands has built here is a completely new standard regarding fan engagement,” responded Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff at the time. “I think other circuits will look at it and start thinking about how they can raise their own level further.”

Wolff had foresight. During the upcoming and also last edition of the Dutch GP, no less than eighteen delegations from abroad would travel to Zandvoort, reports De Telegraaf. The dune circuit is also popular among international fans. More than forty percent of the spectators are expected to come from abroad this year. Weekend tickets have been sold out for months, good for over one hundred thousand visitors per day.
