The circuit was previously called a ‘car-killer’ by other drivers. “In some places it can be dangerous if you have a small moment,” Max Verstappen admitted. “That can result in a crash. But that is no different in Jeddah, of course. As a driver, you have to deal with it and figure out what margins you need to keep everything under control. But it is easy to make a small mistake when you are driving on the limit, we will see how it goes. There are more low-speed corners here than in Jeddah, but the feeling you get is comparable.”
