Red Bull has signed a new multi-year deal with title sponsor Oracle, the racing team announced on Thursday. The software company has been the title sponsor of the Austrian team since 2022, and will remain so for the coming years. Although it has not been announced for how long the contract with Oracle has been extended, the partnership is said to have already earned Red Bull many millions.
Red Bull announces the renewed partnership on the eve of the new Formula 1 season, in which the regulations will undergo significant changes. The contract with Oracle is not only being extended, but also expanded. For instance, in the official press release, Red Bull also speaks of an ‘AI-driven Strategy Agent that will be launched on the track this season’.
‘Enormously successful partnership’
Laurent Mekies is pleased with the ongoing partnership with Oracle and looks forward to competing for more world titles together with the tech company. “Since Oracle became the team’s title partner in 2022, the team has achieved three drivers’ titles and two constructors’ titles and broken many records,” the team principal summarizes. “Our partnership with Oracle has been enormously successful and we are delighted to continue together in this new era for F1.”
“We rely on Oracle’s valuable expertise to help us understand and optimize countless variables more accurately and faster than the competition,” Mekies continues. “With Oracle Cloud and Oracle AI, we can adapt quickly, make smarter decisions, and maintain the performance level needed to win championships. We therefore look forward to continued success in this multi-year partnership.”
