This focus on fashion and couture often clashes with the classic no-nonsense character of the sport. Szafnauer also believes that Hamilton would do better to keep these worlds separate; the American is not very fond of the now well-known entrances of the Ferrari driver. “Who is the first on the circuit? Max Verstappen,” said Szafnauer in the High Performance podcast. “He is always the first. Lewis (Hamilton, ed.) on the other hand only arrives when all the photographers are there, so he can put on his extravagant clothes and be photographed.”
