Lando Norris looks back with his head held high on his third place in the Spanish Grand Prix. The Brit started from pole position but lost several positions when the Virtual Safety Car was lifted just as he entered the pit lane. “At this pace, there are definitely more wins to be achieved,” the McLaren driver puts the missed victory into perspective.

“The speed was there today, but it is very difficult to overtake here,” Norris said afterwards. “Yesterday I surprisingly took pole and we also started the race very well. But luck was not on my side today.”

Norris eventually fought back strongly to third place. According to the McLaren driver, the speed of the car proves that there are still plenty of chances for victories. “The team is doing great. We have to keep working hard because the other teams are on our heels. We have to keep pushing and keep trying. At this pace, there are definitely more wins to be achieved.”
