How many penalty points do the F1 drivers have? Clean slate for Max Verstappen

Max Verstappen starts the upcoming Monaco GP with a clean slate. Until recently, he still had three penalty points on his racing license, but these expired earlier this week. Other drivers are less fortunate. For example, Oliver Bearman – who has accumulated no less than eight penalty points – still faces a suspension. Oliver Bearman currently holds the record, with no less than eight penalty points on his racing license. The Haas driver received his latest penalty point in Abu Dhabi for ‘reckless’ defensive driving. Bearman tried to keep Lance Stroll behind him in the battle for ninth place. The Brit will have to behave in the coming period. His first penalty points expire on July 5. If Bearman receives four more penalty points before then, the driver must sit out a race.

At a reasonable distance from Bearman follow Lance Stroll and Kimi Antonelli with five penalty points each. Oscar Piastri – with four penalty points – and Alex Albon, Piastri and Lewis Hamilton – each with three points – complete the top six. At the very bottom of the list we find Max Verstappen, Fernando Alonso, Valtteri Bottas, Isack Hadjar, Nico Hülkenberg, Arvid Lindblad, Lando Norris, Sergio Pérez and George Russell with zero penalty points on their racing licenses. Verstappen recently has a clean slate again; the points he received for the collision with Russell in Barcelona last year expired in early June.
