Formula 1 announced the news via social media. “Something special is coming,” said the mysterious message. “Get ready.” Several sources report that the festivities will start on February 18 with a warm-up, followed by the main event on February 19 and 20. Based on the images, this season launch seems to take place in Italy. Fans speculate that all F1 teams will once again jointly reveal their different liveries for 2027.

This is not the first time Formula 1 has chosen a joint presentation. In 2025, all teams came together during F1-75 Live at the O2 Arena in London. Formula 1 may want to make a joint season launch a structural part of the calendar. F1-75 last year led to mixed reactions, partly because the different presentations were interspersed with live music.
