Isack Hadjar is likely to lose his ninth place for the Miami GP after a violation of the technical regulations. His RB22 did not pass the technical inspections after qualifying. The floor plank extended two millimeters beyond the allowed limit on the sides. Usually, a driver is removed from the results for such an offense, meaning Hadjar would have to start the race from the pit lane.

The FIA has not yet officially confirmed the disqualification of Isack Hadjar, as the matter is still being handled by the stewards at 07:00 local time on Sunday morning. The French-Algerian driver raced in Miami with the upgrade package on his RB22, just like teammate Max Verstappen. This also included modifications to the front of the floor.
‘Max is very good at adapting’
According to Hadjar, this made the car ‘difficult to drive, but very fast’. “It is a very, very difficult circuit, with very little grip and a high track temperature,” the Red Bull driver explained to the media present. “It is not a smooth race circuit with good grip, it is totally different. And Max is very, very good at adapting to these conditions.” The Dutchman will start the Miami GP from the front row, alongside polesitter Andrea Kimi Antonelli.

Still, Hadjar sees an upward trend in his own driving skills this weekend. “In the corners, I can tell you that I have made huge progress compared to yesterday,” he continues. “Only, I couldn’t drive it as tightly as he did. And moreover, I miss something on every straight.”
