Let’s not forget that Max Verstappen has been with Red Bull for a very long time, which is quite unique. Red Bull is his family, as he himself says. This is where he feels at home and where he wants to be. I think this is very good.”

According to Bleekemolen, Verstappen’s contract extension is also great news for the sport. “Max is also committing himself to Formula 1 with this, despite not being entirely thrilled with the new rules. With this, he says: ‘I will definitely be here until 2030. With Red Bull. I think that is a very nice commitment.”
