Haas drivers Oliver Bearman and Esteban Ocon are already looking ahead to the very last Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort. After a much-needed summer break, both men are eager to start the second half of the season. Bearman is also a bit disappointed that it is the last time Formula 1 will travel to Zandvoort: “The atmosphere is unparalleled and the circuit is so unique.”

The very last Dutch GP at Zandvoort is about to begin. Of course, the Haas team is also traveling to the circuit in the dunes, after a – in the words of driver Oliver Bearman – much-needed summer break. “It was wonderful to be able to put my phone on ‘do not disturb’ for a while,” says the young driver in Haas’s preview of the Dutch Grand Prix. “I love Zandvoort, and it’s a shame this is the last year it’s on the Formula 1 calendar – the atmosphere is unparalleled, the Orange Army is in full force, and the circuit is so unique. I’m looking forward to racing again.”
Bearman also immediately has a clear goal for the next twelve races for Haas. “The goal for the second half of the season is to perform as well as possible,” he continues. “We need to work closely together to achieve the best possible result within our capabilities.”

‘Fans always create an incredible atmosphere at Zandvoort’
Teammate Esteban Ocon also enjoyed the summer break and the chance to recharge before the busy second half of the season begins. “Zandvoort is a fantastic location to kick off the second half of the year,” says the Frenchman. “The fans always create an incredible atmosphere, and the circuit is very fun to drive on. We faced a few challenges in the first half of the season, so we want to build on the consistency we showed in Hungary.”
