Isack Hadjar has unveiled a unique helmet for the upcoming Dutch GP at Zandvoort. The young Parisian is following Red Bull teammate Max Verstappen and chooses a Delft blue design. It is a tribute to his first F1 podium at Zandvoort in 2025. Hadjar finished P3 and received a trophy made of Delft blue pottery afterwards. However, the cup did not survive the celebrations, which has been playfully incorporated into the new helmet design.

“It is perfect,” Hadjar responded upon seeing his new helmet for Zandvoort. Verstappen had previously revealed a Delft blue design, in honor of his last home race in Formula 1 – after 2026 the premier class will disappear from the Netherlands. Hadjar’s helmet also has a white base, featuring dark and light blue details. On the back, it can also be seen how the 21-year-old driver breaks his original Zandvoort trophy in two.

In 2025, Hadjar still raced for sister team Racing Bulls. During the Dutch GP, he qualified in fourth place, at that time his highest starting position ever in Formula 1. During the race, he managed to maintain that position, which – thanks to the late retirement of Lando Norris – earned him his first podium in Formula 1. Partly thanks to that positive result, the Frenchman would later move up to Red Bull’s main team.

Hadjar and the Racing Bulls crew proudly posed with the trophy after the race, before the young driver was treated to a champagne shower. His cup, made of Delft pottery and hand-painted, broke in two. This did little to dampen the celebrations, although the Dutch artwork in the trophy cabinet in Faenza would undoubtedly look less beautiful. Fortunately, trophy supplier Royal Delft later provided him with a new copy. The moment is thus immortalized on Hadjar’s helmet in 2026.
