Former Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert is already looking ahead to the next Grand Prix in Baku. The Azerbaijan GP will be held a day earlier next week – due to a national memorial day in the host country on Sunday – which is why the former driver is also making an early prediction: “Lando, Kimi, and Max will finish on the podium.”

Formula 1 travels to Baku next week for the Azerbaijan GP. The drivers and teams have to leave earlier than usual because the race weekend this time starts on Thursday with free practice sessions. Former Formula 1 driver Johnny Herbert is therefore making an early prediction for the street race in the Azerbaijani capital.
“In Baku, the usual names will be fighting at the front again,” Herbert predicts to a betting platform. “Of course, I’m mainly talking about Mercedes, but McLaren and Lando (Norris, ed.) will make it difficult again for Kimi (Antonelli, ed.) and George (Russell, ed.).”
‘Lando, Kimi, and Max on the podium’
The former driver even sees Norris taking the win, after narrowly missing it during the Spanish GP. “As for the podium, I’m going for Lando, Kimi, and Max (Verstappen, ed.),” he also places the Dutch world champion on the podium. Verstappen won the race in Baku last year. If Herbert’s prediction indeed comes true, it would mean another blow for Russell in his title fight with teammate Kimi Antonelli.
