A special racing suit of Max Verstappen is being auctioned for charity. The signed suit that the Dutchman wore during his last home race in Zandvoort is going under the hammer via memorabilia platform F1 Authentics. The full proceeds go to Wings for Life, a foundation dedicated to research into a treatment for spinal cord injury. Verstappen is an important ambassador for Wings for Life.

The racing suit was specially designed for the last Dutch GP at Zandvoort and stands out with the orange details. The piece is signed and framed by Verstappen, allowing the winner to display it immediately. The auction also offers a special extra. The winner will get a tour of the Red Bull campus in Milton Keynes and may personally receive the racing suit from Verstappen there.
Wings for Life
Red Bull team principal and CEO Laurent Mekies, also an ambassador for Wings for Life, emphasizes the importance of the campaign. “After Max’s (Verstappen, ed.) contract extension with the team, we are proud to auction one of his special racing suits from the Dutch Grand Prix for charity. This special suit, signed by Max, was designed for his last home race in Zandvoort, as the Dutch GP will disappear from the F1 calendar after 2026.”

“In collaboration with the auction platform F1 Authentics, collectors can bid on this special piece of history. Because 100 percent of the auction proceeds go directly to Wings for Life, we can turn a rare racing memorabilia into meaningful research for a treatment for spinal cord injury.” Wings for Life was founded in 2004 by the late Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz and two-time motocross world champion Heinz Kinigadner. The foundation funds medical research projects focused on finding a treatment for spinal cord injury.
