Cadillac announced Graeme Lowdon’s departure as team principal on Wednesday in an official statement. The American team is in its debut season in Formula 1, with Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas behind the wheel, but still has zero World Championship points at the time of the summer break. Lowdon is now succeeded by Marcin Budkowski.

‘Privilege’

“My focus will be on aligning our people, resources, and information flows so that the right decisions are made quickly and the car’s performance improves at every race,” said Budkowski in the official press release. “It is a privilege to lead Cadillac’s racing efforts, starting in Zandvoort this coming weekend.”
