The countdown to the last Dutch Grand Prix has begun! After the summer break, the second half of the Formula 1 season will be festively kicked off with a packed sprint weekend at Circuit Zandvoort. Max Verstappen will be in action for his home crowd one last time, before the curtain falls on the biggest motorsport festival in our country. Since 2021, historic Zandvoort has been a permanent fixture on the F1 calendar. The successes of star driver Max Verstappen further fueled the motorsport craze in the Netherlands, bringing Formula 1 back to the dune circuit for the first time since 1985. The modern Dutch Grand Prix proved to be a bullseye. F1 fans worldwide enjoyed the undulating circuit and the unique Orange atmosphere. Moreover, Verstappen left his mark on the event by winning the first three editions. This was followed by victories from Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.

In 2026, Formula 1 will visit the Netherlands one last time, after which Zandvoort will disappear from the calendar. The organization decided not to extend the contract with the premier class. As a farewell gift, however, fans will be treated to more race action than ever before: in August, a sprint race will be held at Zandvoort for the first time.
