Verstappen still wants to achieve a good result for Red Bull in the last weekend before the summer break. Because despite the questions about his future and the uncertainty surrounding it, he is as driven and committed as ever. “I feel good. Nothing is going on. I want to get the best out of the car and that’s what I’m focusing on. This team feels like a second family and together we want to win. We’ve been close to that this season. There’s still plenty to do, but I do see an upward trend.”
‘Care about Formula 1’

“I’ve said enough about it often enough, but people keep asking about it,” Verstappen notes. He has often given his opinion on the current regulations. For example, that overtaking maneuvers are often artificial. Real race fans see that, according to the Dutchman. And that’s true, as more and more people in the paddock are agreeing with him throughout the first half of the season. “And I stand by it: my criticism was and is not because I don’t win, but because I care about the product Formula 1.”
