The premier class travels to the Hungaroring for the Hungarian GP, the last race weekend before the summer break. But can the attending fans also expect summer weather? A year ago, McLaren drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri were still fiercely battling each other for victory in dry conditions in Hungary. The two teammates were then still embroiled in a title fight. Although a year later neither Norris nor Piastri seems to be a title contender anymore, this year’s race weekend at the Hungaroring promises to deliver the same weather conditions.
Weather Report Hungarian GP
On Friday, Formula 1 starts its first free practice session at 13:30 Dutch time. This will take place under cloudy conditions, with a pleasant temperature of around 23 degrees Celsius. For the second free practice later that day, the mercury will rise slightly to 25 degrees Celsius, but the clouds are expected to remain above the Hungaroring.

On Saturday, the temperature rises even further and the sun will shine. During the third free practice, this means a temperature of around 25 degrees Celsius for the drivers, while during qualifying it even rises to 28 degrees. The highest temperature, however, is expected on Sunday during the race: it will be a whopping 29 degrees Celsius, with only a six percent chance of rain.
