Red Bull and Racing Bulls stayed at Suzuka for a while after the recent Japanese GP. Both teams completed a tire test on behalf of Pirelli on Tuesday. Arvid Lindblad and Liam Lawson were in action, as was Isack Hadjar. On Wednesday, the trio will again complete the necessary test laps on the Japanese asphalt. Red Bull driver Max Verstappen was not present; he was meanwhile completing his own test program at the Nürburgring.

Pirelli is organizing the two-day test session at Suzuka together with Red Bull and Racing Bulls to evaluate new tire constructions for 2027. The test kilometers in Japan follow the cancellation of planned tests in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. As a result, Pirelli was forced to adjust the plans. In Bahrain, the tire supplier was supposed to experiment with wet tires using a special irrigation system. Reportedly, the focus is now on the C1, C2, and C3 compounds.

Red Bull and Racing Bulls have the honor of testing at Suzuka on Tuesday and Wednesday. Lawson and Lindblad are serving in the VCARB 03, while Hadjar is solely responsible for the RB22. Max Verstappen, who looks back on a disappointing race weekend in Japan, flew back to Europe immediately after the Grand Prix. After a short visit to Monaco, he traveled on to the Eifel on Monday evening, where he tested his Mercedes-GT3 car at the Nürburgring on Tuesday.
