The car now swaps its green shades for orange on the nose, parts of the sidepods, and the engine cover. The color scheme is part of a campaign called From Rock to Racetrack.

Not only McLaren will come with a special livery in Monte Carlo, the other British team Aston Martin also changes their colors. The AMR26, which is usually green, is now partly orange as well. The intention is that when the car speeds through Monaco, the car will have a different color from every angle.

The campaign linked to the car is From Rock to Racetrack. This campaign wants to show how Maaden extracts raw materials and converts them into building blocks that provide energy to society. “The Monaco livery has an iridescent finish with color-changing effects. The result is a livery whose color visibly changes. This design symbolizes the transformation from raw materials to advanced technology,” Aston Martin’s press release states.
